No-go on the death photos. President Obama has decided not to release photos of Bin Laden’s dead corpse saying - in an upcoming 60 Minutes interview – "It is important to make sure very graphic photos of somebody who was shot in the head are not floating around as an incitement to additional violence or as a propaganda tool…We don’t need to spike the football…We don't trot out this stuff as trophies."
The White House has released some new details about Bin Laden’s death. He was reportedly unarmed when SEALs raided the compound and shot and killed him. Initial reports that he used his wife as a human shield are untrue. On the decision to kill Bin Laden instead of take him alive - White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said, “There was concern that bin Laden would oppose the capture operation and indeed he resisted.
Now that Bin Laden's life has ended – will our foreign wars be next? More and more Democratic lawmakers are lining up to say it’s time to get out of Afghanistan.
