Dr. Shakil Afridi, The Pakistani who provided the Key information to the U.S. of A helped to locate and to positively identify Osama Bin Laden in advance of the successful Navy SEAL assault on Osama bin Laden's compound last May. this was acknowledged publicly by Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta on 60 Minutes (to be broadcast this Sunday). Dr. Afradi is now languishing in a Pakistani Prison, charged with treason, and God only knows what kind of abuse and torture.

I am a public school teacher in Indiana, not a good place to be right now. Thom talked about the Republican destruction of the Hoosier middle class and I am sad to report that Mitch Daniels has just about finished what he set out to do on the day he was sworn in to office in 2005. First executive order from Mitch was to eliminate collective bargaining for state employees. Union membership for state employees has dropped to an all time low of less than 10%.
