Important Occupy Info calls being dropped by Thom Hartmann show

Ergoat's picture

And I hope it is just technical difficulties.

The morning I got out of jail after the mass arrest of 409 Occupy Oaklanders for the attempted take over of of a vacant building to be used as a community center, I called the Thom Hartmann show. I spoke of how the police illegally used tear gas, illegally arrested us, and in jail denied access to phone calls and lawyers for over 48 hours. It was a good exchange live on air.

Wondering how many radio stations have recently dropped progressive talk

Eastern Washington's picture

As I said in my last blog, the only radio station here that carried progressive/liberal talk programs now plays only country music--one of the many country music stations. The station here that carries Rush, still proudly announces that they are the station of Rush. Do understand that station owners decide what content they provide. Still, as a listener, the situation sucks.

Point in case this weekend's paper and Internet postings by multiple news agencies. CBS and MSNBC. Missouri homeless woman dies in custody. Please search this article out and read it. The title is not indicative of the article. This is my speech on behalf of Anna Brown.

The One Termers

Johnnyblue72's picture

Here is an idea. What if we organized a bunch of people to run for congress and senate who were completely uninterested in running for more than one term.  Wasn't that the whole idea of the U.S. government back in the day?  Normal people doing normal jobs and then serving for a bit and then going back to their normal jobs.  Maybe I'm naive but couldn't we go back to this?
