THOM
Thom's personal email address is thom at thomhartmann.com. But please do not send an email to Thom unless it’s really critical; Thom receives over 500 emails a day and is rarely able to respond to email. Thom does not discuss or debate politics in email – that’s what the radio show and website is for. If you want to make a political point or ask a question about politics, call the program or post to the message boards or blog. People who send multiple emails a day to Thom, or who include Thom in long lists of others in the “to” field, are automatically put into a spam filter and, unfortunately, their emails never get read in the future.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND
Thom, Louise, and Shawn each receive several hundred emails a day, and while they read most, they rarely have the time or bandwidth to answer.

Our email server is automated so that people who send us multiple emails a week or include us in long lists of cc’d individuals are put on a spam list, and none of those emails can be read nor can we receive future emails of any sort from those email accounts. We sincerely regret having to do this, but with there only being 24 hours in a day, we have no choice at the moment.

And any emails sent to us become our property and may be reproduced on the internet, in Thom's books, or read on the air on radio and/or TV.

Time to Rethink the War on Terror

When Eric Holder eventually steps down as Attorney General, he will leave behind a complicated legacy, some of it tragic, like his decision not to prosecute Wall Street after the financial crisis, and his all-out war on whistleblowers like Edward Snowden.

From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"Never one to shy away from the truth, Thom Hartmann’s collected works are inspiring, wise, and compelling. His work lights the way to a better America."
Van Jones, cofounder of RebuildTheDream.com and author of The Green Collar Economy
From Cracking the Code:
"Thom Hartmann ought to be bronzed. His new book sets off from the same high plane as the last and offers explicit tools and how-to advice that will allow you to see, hear, and feel propaganda when it's directed at you and use the same techniques to refute it. His book would make a deaf-mute a better communicator. I want him on my reading table every day, and if you try one of his books, so will you."
Peter Coyote, actor and author of Sleeping Where I Fall
From The Thom Hartmann Reader:
"Thom is a national treasure. Read him, embrace him, learn from him, and follow him as we all work for social change."
Robert Greenwald, political activist and founder and president of Brave New Films
