May the spring be full of new beginnings!

Reducing working hours, shriveling the financial sector, expanding the non-profit sector, building community centers, and redistriuting from top to bottom would be good steps, not drilling where there is no oil!

On my new website, linkis to 53 videos and 2010 articles on anti-militarism, economic and political crisis and liberation theology await you. I look forward to your comments and suggestions.

May we finally put the horse before the cart and mend our own pockets before turning countries into parking lots and creating financial products no one can understand! May we feel strengthened in the transitional work of converting the empire into a republic (cf. Chalmers Johnson, "Nemesis")!

And then there's the question of who is more electable in a general election: an unabashedly progressive democrat, like Bernie Sanders; or a "centrist" democrat, like Hillary Clinton.
