Every time I hear Rush or Hannity or O'Reilly, or Beck go into a pontificating tirade on the evils of Obama and the virtues of Ronald Reagan, my blood pressure goes through the roof! What brought this all back to me fresh again this morning was the fact that I was looking at an article on my Comcast homepage this morning about the  top 20 Billionaires in the world  as we speak. Included were all the Waltons of the Wal Mart dynasty who together probably are worth over 100 billion dollars as their employees struggle to survive on a below living wage, and they are given classes on how to go on medicaid so the taxpayers can absorb the expense of their medical care instead of their multi-billionaire employers. Also listed were Bill Gates and Warren Buffet (Buffet at least was honest enough to say that it is a class war and his class was winning!) All of this really and truly started with the Reagan administration and his BS Reaganomicas and lies about the virtues of the "Free market". I personally lived through the last 30 years and I am still trying to recover from the 80's. If this trend is not reversed soon we will truly be a "feudal" society very soon, if we are not already!

I recommend laughter to

I recommend laughter to balance outrage, and fortunately Ronnie Popular began a cavalcade of ridiculous imperial outrage that went Bollywood with Iraq under the BushyCheney farce.

While the Empire is never "fun," it is always funny in the ridiculous sense.  If we have to know about the outrageous to avoid being drugged by the cult koolaid, we have to be able to see the naked emperor and not just be disgusted at the flab.  These guys are fools, some of them educated, but none of them able to live up to the billing of divinity or philosopher/kings--or even Great Conquerors.

We drown in banality, as Arent warned.  The economy is about schlock even when it "works."  You need to be able to see outside this box to see at all.  So, instead of blowing your stack, try to understand what is driving you crazy about this.

I started to look upon it as pathology and it began to make sense.  Trying to make sense of America was driving me crazy.

Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity are nothing more than propagandists bought and paid for by big oil money.

And big bank money, and big pharmaceutical money, and big agricultural money, and big.......etc.

They are like most economists whom the economist Batra calls prositututes.
