Ive been trying to watch the PBS American Experience show on James Earl Ray, but I just blanch every time i see Gerald Posner's mug on the screen; and I dismiss the whole show as a cover-up. I sent the show a similar one to the one I sent NPR a few days ago about their take on the MLK assassination, a book called "Hellhound....something". I asked for equal time from a rational person.

The show also had Dan "forward..and to the LEFT!..forward..and to the LEFT! Rather. At least they put on a graphic at the end that cofirmed James Earl Ray recanted his confession after 3 days and proclaimed his innocence until his death. Rather and others gave this same familiar shpeil that Ray was motivated by fame for being the one to kill the "dreamer'. They also failed to mention any of the questionable "facts" about the case, such as the misalligned scope, controversy over the ballistic results, other witnesses seeing another shooter, etc.
