On Thom's show today, he mentioned how he benefited from Jimmy Carter's deregulation of the travel industry and Ronald Reagan's capital gains tax cut. If it weren't for those policies, we may not be listening to him today.

Ronald Reagan's father worked for the Works Progress Administration (WPA) from FDR's New Deal and probably could not have afforded to send him to college without that job. Ayn Rand received a $10.00 stipend of every performance of the play she wrote after it left Broadway from the WPA.
