obama the corportist

When is Obama going to turn back the reagan revolution and the vodoo economics/ Economic hitman style of expoitation? NEVER - that's when - if we look at his RECORD AND NOT HIS WORDS......

We need to hold obama accountaable for his deeds and ignore his words - remember when he got mad at the bankers......now we know it was all rhetoric - behind the scenes obama, summers and geitner are FIGHTING AGAINST REFORM. Even when Congress has the votes to pass it......

250.00 checks for WE THE PEOPLE and 10 trillion(mainstream media's #) to 23 trillion(krugmans #) for the criminals that caused the meltdown.

I do remember that Obama had promised to end the reagan trickle down madness.....instead we get Obama the Corportist saying one thing and then toeing the corporate line EVERY SINGLE TIME........

the lesser of 2 evils is still a disaster for the USA - sotomayer was 1st put on the federal bench by BUSH Sr - how liberal can she really be.....Kagan was on the Goldman Sachs payroll - so now not only do they run the financial arm of the Gov - but Goldman gets their influence onto the SCOTUS?

afanistan - at least we now know why we're there......To guarantee cheap raw materials to the chinese or to the multi-nationals! WE are not leaving in 2011......does anyone really believe that?

and all indications are that the speech tonight will be a waste of time.......20 billion fund when the damages could easily be 1 trillion! Obama says that he won't rest until the GOM is fixed back to it's orginal state! I suppose this genius in the White House missed the moral of the Humpty Dumpty story......some things CANNOT BE FIXED! Why is he parroting the corporate line? And Obama has never even met with Hayward the BP CEO....... A good speech would begin by Obama saying this well cannot be capped.....will we get the truth? I say NO.

Now word is that Obama wants the bush tax cuts extended......

And this downturn? The poor pay the price in lower wages, lower benefits, increased productivity, paying higher tax rates than the wealthy, cuts only to low income services and HUGE INCREASES in health care and education costs......

If we have to force Obama to do the right thing - how come the public option had a 70% approval rating and obama publically supported it buit behind the scenes promsied big business it wouldn't happen on his watch - What % support do we need to give Obama to make him do the right thig if 70% doesn't get it done?

Just admit it Thom - Obama is a pure corportist and will do whatever the corporations want and nothing for WE THE PEOPLE.........although he'll talk a good game - but so did bush with his clean skies initiative.

The White House and Treasury are fighting tooth and nail against the financial reform - without the Obama admin WANTING reform IT WILL NOT HAPPEN.........no matter what kind words he uses....

Trickle down economic theory on steriods is the name of the game for Obama............

AND all you Obama apologists - NAME ONE THING WHERE OBAMA HAS TAKEN THE SIDE OF WE THE PEOPLE?

The Problem of the Establishment

One thing that both parties have in common in this primary season is the fact that there's a sharp divide between "We, the People" populism, and the rich and powerful Washington establishment.

On the Republican side, Donald Trump is leading the race by running on a populist platform based on the fact that he's not beholden to the billionaires or lobbyists, and that he's never been part of the political establishment.
