Most of us advocate for socializing the commons (roads, bridges, libraries, health care etc), but the word "socialism" has been turned into a scary, evil thing. Let's rebrand it and call it American Style Socialism. The word American makes it less scary. What do you think?

You read my mind. I've been thinking up ways, because when you bring up the S-word folks think the USSR or North Korea and never Scandinavia. We need to take a Mad Men approach to this. Preferably something that doesn't start with an S, but hey if we can't we can't. Maybe a connection of words?
How about referring to it as "maintaining the infrastructure" of your home?
America is our home. Republicans are leeches lying on hammocks and drinking daquiris and whining about spending money maintaining the infrastructure of our home. They want everyone but themselves to live in Dogpatch.
