Has anyone heard of this new Kasasa banking movement?

About 1 year ago I moved all of my money out of the big national banks. But I was surprised to find that there are Community banks and Credit Unions offering over 3% interest on their accounts.

Now I'm seeing that the bank I use is displaying this "Kasasa Cash" logo on their website. So I Googled Kasasa cash. Kasasa bills itself as a movement to forge something of a national co-op out of what it calls "qualified" community banks and credit unions.

Does anyone know anything else about this movement? Does anyone else have their money in a bank that participates in Kasasa cash? I have never heard any commercials or advertisements for it.

This is their website: www.kasasa.com. Worth checking out.

Wow! That is twice in one week I have agreed with tayl44, indeed scary.  It sure seems unusual for this group to go out of their way to avoid saying how they make their money or where the profits come from.  "Everyone wins" and banking systems don't tend go together.

We`re on a roll,we get some

We`re on a roll,we get some more to go along,we might change the world. These people must really be over the edge to think you can fool all the people all the time. The Nobel winner Muhammed Yunus has started the Grameen Bank,it helps the poor.People need to check it out. Some people are pushing for a public/state bank, you can imagine some people will try to scam a good idea."Buyer Beware"!

I am a bit suspicious of

I am a bit suspicious of Kasasa.  For my location (zip) I got three choices: all banks and all over 1,000 miles away.  Not what I call a community bank.  There are several local credit unions here in town when I get ready to move from the local bank I use now.
