Claims of civil rights support of GOP by Haley Barbour and Beck

Watch out for what will be a vigorous campaign saying the GOP has NEVER opposed Civil Rights/integration, etc. as stated by Beck and Barbour. They are rewriting history.  Southerners flocked to the GOP when Reagan went to Mississippi and gave a speech supporting: state's rights (now called 'local control'), etc. to bring the Dems to the GOP where they are alive, strong and well. I have been thinking about their motivation in now supporting civil rights.  They must recognize most Americans are concerned about the vivid racism in the signs at rallies that depict Obama as The Joker, etc., the anti-immigrant vehemence, anti-gay rhetoric, urging the repeal of the 14th Amendment, or returning social issues to the control of states, and need the independent voter to win elections.  ("If we are happily equal now, we no longer need the federal protections in the 14th Am!" ) Paul said as much after winning his primary: the govt. should not tell private business who can be served in their businesses, etc. He favors repeal of the amdmt. Ergo: start the revised history/lies that they are NOT racist/etc. to lower those anxieties of the independent voter.  They hope to convince voters they are not racist so we have no need for that amendment! Why else make such astonishing speeches?  They also want to calm the concerns of the good Christians among them who believe in Christ's message in the Sermon on the Mount.  URGENT MESSAGE TO MEDIA: Better start tearing apart their revision of history with facts showing the truth. If you study the history of how the Nazis came to power in liberal Germany in the 1930s and turned their people against Jews, etc, you find out it was a media campaign to vilify Jews. First, the govt. required the newspapers to always id the Jews in the news ("Mr. Goldman, a Jew...").  Then, add an adjective: ("Mr. Goldman, the greedy Jew"  or some such) and it got worse. Eventually, they brainwashed people into forming opinions that Jews were bad, the cause of economic problems (we hear it said today in America), were different and, finally, that they deserved to suffer because they rejected Jesus.

The same pattern is happening now, starting with the Muslims, a group few want to help.  Since it isn't popular to defend Muslims/Islam, few journalists want to research or buck the media empires so they ignore all of this, reaping praise from Fox/Murdoch/GOP and becoming insiders.  Right now, the attacks are against Muslims - who is next?

More evidence of their long-range intentions: Glenn Beck urging people to "walk out of your churches if you hear the words: 'social justice' or 'equal rights' in sermons. That is not a Christian message." I know a conservative Tea Partier, gun advocate, who has done exactly that after decades of fervant churchgoing.

Hammer away, please, to reveal the manipulation!
