The current issue of Vanity Fair features a profile of Sarah Palin by a writer who says that he did not set out to write a negative piece, but that what he uncovered lead him what the public does not see.  According to Danny Shea of the Huffington Post, "In the profile, (Michael Joseph) Gross paints Palin as an abusive retaliatory figure with an extreme ability to lie."

Gross writes, ". . . anywhere you peel back the skin of Sarah Palin's life, a sad and moldering strangeness lies beneath."

Somehow, Palin's irrational anger and volatile personality seems related to the mentality of the Tea Party people and of all Republicans.  Gross gives examples of when Palin and her entourage stayed in hotels and gave the bellhops either a very small tip or no tips at all.  So much for her being on the side of the average working person.

This is not just an article about her character but about her emotional stability and attitudes toward others.

Gross says that Palin has a problem with lying and gives examples of this.  See the current issue of the magazine to read the article.
