Scuttlebutt has it that the republicans have introduced a bill to privatize social security. It seems like this would be a golden egg topic handed to democrats on a platinum platter. I sincerely hope that the democrats don't find a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory on this one. Do you think they will fight and fight vigorously to keep social security? Here's hoping.
