John McCain suggests illegal immigrants may be responsible for AZ fires

It is the "fashion" in the very liberal left to coddle and nurture illegal immigrants. These same elitists would not want the immigrants living next door, but to put on a big show of "how much they care about PEOPLE", they lean into the Hyperbola Zone anytime immigrants are mentioned.

As a centrist call for sanity, and after hearing Thom Hartmann report McCain's comment in a "Crazy Alert", I'm disappointed in Thom's take on the AZ fires comment McCain made.

Y'know, the Far Right Authoritarians are the ones (and should remain the ONLY ones) who distribute the poison of lies mixed with the sugar of truth, and hyperbola to soothe the wacked out needing Iron Fist Papa leadership. They paint wif one colur at a tym, and a biggBoy bRush.

Progressives, on the other hand, need not get into the hyperbola game. Progressive people do not respond to poorly thought-out comments and repeated dogma. We have the intellectual ability to enjoy complex aspects and to understand them.

So, when Thom gives this "knee-jerk", "everything the other side says is always stupid or crazy" response, and doesn't listen carefully to what was said (and not said), it makes progressives seem as stupid as Faux Snooze listeners.

The fact is, immigrants DO set up camp fires for warmth and cooking. When wind picks up the embers, guess what happens. Guess how most forest fires are started; poorly tended campfires. Nobody said immigrants were careful or judicious in campfire building. McCain did NOT say they did this on purpose. It was just careless and it happened - end of story. Not crazy when thought out, Thom.

The Right Wingnuts say everything we say is crazy. Don't give 'em ammo.

You might also put liberal hyperbola in check by checking out the crime stats for places where Mexican immigrants (illegal or not) congregate here in the US, and you might take a trip into REAL Mexico and not just the clean-n-fun tourist cities of Puerto Viarta, Cancun, Acapulco, etc.. Go into any REGULAR Mexican town and see how things go. If you come out with money and your head still attached, good.

Mexicans can be nice people, but if they ALL were nice, their country would not be in absolute turmoil with many fleeing. Some leaving to here, like malignant tumor cells, are part of the problem, and they ARE bringing it here. When someone says Mexicans can be a problem, don't get all "oh no you di-int!"

Well disgruntled, if you cant see that what McCain did was something we refer to as "Hate mongering", then you are either blind, or not so liberal. McCain speaking those words will be taken as a sound bite and played across the nation over and over. Regardless of what is said afterwards, THE IMPLICATION alone sticks in the heads of those that hear it especially when added to all the other RACIST and DISCRIMINATORY comments made mainly by the Republican party, and that is seen throughout our media market, and McCain knows it, he's no fool (just a real jerk, and crook).

Oh, lol, and its kinda neat how the good ole ATF has been ARMING the Mexican Drug Cartels while simultaneously waging an unreasonable (not to mention failed) drug war that brings these same cartels the capital needed to create entire armies of footsoldiers complete with a full array of weapons including assault weapons, tanks and aircraft. This situation has brought GREED and CORRUPTION which often erupts in VIOLENCE and POVERTY. You should recognise the fact that Mexican cities and the state that they may be in, do NOT reflect an entire countries peoples, rather the SAD state of its Corrupted or failed government. By the way, how do you think those CARTELS are gonna feel if we do the only sane thing to do, which is end the war on drugs. So sir before you try to profile someone by what area of the world they may have been born in i think you should CONSIDER the possibility that you COULD be a racist (or a hired, crazy right wing nut).

To make a fire into an opportunity to bash an entire culture is shameful. And how many fires have been started by Americans by the way, we are all people ya know. "If they all were nice" <-----seriously? lol

I bet the Senator has outdoor fire pits on each of his lanais. Why not have designated safe-camping for illegal immigrant areas, since they know they are in there anyway?

Largest Climate March Ever!

On Sunday, the world's largest climate march took over New York City. In addition to the 400,000 people who showed up to demand change in the Big Apple, hundreds of thousands more joined events in at least 156 counties. From London to Rio to Melbourne to New York, people around the world joined together to demand action on climate change.
