Of course, Ron is the one real populist in the race, always appealing to the people over the heads of the establishment and its media, but Gary Weiss can't stand it. According to Gary, commenting on Ron's inclusion of OWS protesters at a NH speech:
"It was a masterful performance. Ron Paul — fraudulent populist, friend of the oligarchy, sworn enemy of every social program since Theodore Roosevelt — had won the day, again."
Of course, social programs were invented by oligarchs like Bismarck, Teddy, and FDR, or tools of the oligarchy like LBJ and Nixon, to enlarge and enrich the state and its plutocratic masters, and to make the people more dependent and therefore less troublesome. The Koch Bros. are anti-Ron; George Soros, too.
Oh, and another thing wrong with Ron, according to Weiss: the Old Right was against The Good War. See, some world wars, and their 50 million corpses, are wonderful. So we are enjoined to fear the peacemaker, and demonize him, by a guy who allegedly agrees with Ron's foreign policy. (Thanks to Saleh Abdullah)
