for a vacation in the sun, when half of the country is unable to keep warm, for lack of money for heat, toilets or water when their house burn down, let alone celebrate Christmas, as if it were business as usual. I am simply outraged! (Sometimes you find yourself missing Bush and his long vacations, at least it was on his ranch--much cheaper for us all!). If the first percenter family could absolutely not stay home like the rest of us less fortunate, homeless, foreclosed, jobless, unemployed, SS recipients, etc., at least he and his entourage could have gone to New Orleans, closer, cheaper, and probably a good stimulus for the local economy.

Speaking of outrage, Thom's segment on churches failing to pay property taxes, which I thought was brilliant--to use his phrase--contributed to a big spike in my blood pressure last night, I was so upset with whatever her name is. Not only that crass woman wasted all of our time for being inarticulate--she could only do one thing: repeat conservative talking points--but her bad faith was spectacular.

The last time I looked Hawaii was the American economy and I don't see why anyone should be outraged at the President going home for Christmas. That is what many Americans do.
The criticism of the best First Family in a long time for by the pathetic Obama haters is such ugly crapola that it only proves what jerks there are over on the Right. Here is the "family values" crowd who never said nothing about the drunken twins or how screwed up Dubya's own family history was, and all they can do is make ugly remarks about the best thing about Obama.
Guess what, the First Family does not fly commercial and needs to have Secret Service protection. In order to have something like a normal human life and family, they need to be able to go on vacations and visit relatives without having creeps on the Right constantly checking the bills. I would bet that Michelle and the girls run up fairly modest bills for their excursions. They did not come from the same entitlement culture that the Bushies do.
