I went to Univ of California-Berkeley in the early '50s, tuition was not quite free....it cost $15/semester.....student body card was an additional $10 but purchase not required. As far as I remember, a student body card let you into university sport events free. A year or two later, tuition cost $25/semester which included the student body card....the extra $10 hike to be applied to construction of a new student union. I later saw that new student union....it was beautiful....had a bowling alley and all the amenities a student could wish for. Cost was in the neighborhood of $25M.

40 Years of Reaganism Behind This Disastrous Train Crash

A train derailed and crashed into a station in Hoboken, New Jersey during rush hour this morning, reportedly leaving at least one person dead and more than 100 others injured.

After everyone was rescued from the train, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie called into CNN and expressed concern and confusion about the accident, asking "How could this happen?"
