Almost every week, there is a story about a ferry in indonesia overturning or boat full of Somali refugees sinking, hundreds dead. It gets 10 seconds of air time. 21 RICH people die on a luxury liner, it gets 10 MINUTES. A network with a real ethical mission statement would consider the deaths of poor people as big a tragedy as the death of poor people. thank you for reading?!
