Are today progressives too "politically correct" to work together for a common cause?

We came together for Civil Rights & Vietnam,but the 99% cannot come together for economic justice.Remember the "co-opt businesses" created in 60s & 70s to protest capitalism? Why cannot anti-war & pro-abortion work together for a "co-opt" 99% public bank? Would political correctness tell each group,not to get involve because they know nothing about banking? In the 60s & 70s,progressives wouldn`t have worry about it,they would create the bank and learn by mistakes.  60s & 70s progressive mindset,where are you???  Have you been "co-opted"??
