I've read Paul Chappels writings on ending war...& he has a new book out called "Peaceful Revolution". You CANNOT read one of his interviews or books and NOT feel immense hope. So help me God...he is like another Ghandi. Please research for yourself.
Here is a link to an interview he did for "The Sun". I was completely blown away & shared the article with others who were equally blown away. http://www.wagingpeace.org/articles.pdfs/2011_07_11_chappell_sun.pdf
According to his website he will be on a speaking tour in the DC area- April 16-20, 2012

Your link did not work. I was looking forward to reading the article. Maybe another link?
Try this one: http://www.wagingpeace.org/articles/pdfs/2011_07_11_chappell_sun.pdf
Also If you go to his own website....at www.paulkchappell.com & scroll down...you should see the link to the interview.
If you go to "The Sun" website...they also have the interview as well...but not in it's entirety...unless you have a subscription. (It was in the April,2011 issue I think)
Hedges was a war correspondent who learned all the reasons to hate war. I grew up with WWII vets who were close enough to it to hate the idea of another war even if they were in the military. When they proclaimed peace as their profession, they meant it. They were betrayed by civilians and careerists. Chappell stands in an honored and holy line of heroes.
