u stated that the postal worker union is the largest union in the US with a 1/2 mil work force. The NEA & AFT has close to 6 mil educational workers in their unions (NEA 3 mil + & AFT 2 mil +). The NEA, with the largest democratic deliberative body in the world, is the largest single union in the US.

As far as I could find out the American Postal Workers Union has 330,000 members and there were many other unions larger than that with the NEA being the largest.
