The Yes comes before the No. Nonviolence is stronger than violence. The UN was founded in 1945 to outlaw war. Militarism, propaganda and demonizing are false securities where ideological thinking replaces the truth of international interdependence. If all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. Iran has not started a war in 300 years.

Remember, Cheney blew up the diplomatic option after 9/11 when Iran wanted to be our friend. We could have had a deal on Israel too. But, money trumps peace, and PNAC was all about having that oil for our empire. We could see if we could stop giving the hardliners in Iran more reasons to think we are hell bent on attacking them. War is always the failure of politics and cleaning up after war is always harder than doing the politics of peace instead of the war. But, the racketeers will not make their money.
