Activists are expressing serious concerns that Mitt Romney’s private equity firm Bain Capital owns one of America’s largest media conglomerates, Clear Channel Communications, Inc., which broadcasts numerous popular talk-show hosts with incalculable influence in the 2012 GOP primary. Among the radio personalities syndicated by Clear Channel or aired on hundreds of stations it owns nationwide are Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Glenn Beck, Michael Savage, and many others.

Is it really important to Mitt to win the presidency or is he more interested in setting a precedent whereby candidates spend unGodly sums of money on media so that he can turn himself and his cohorts from multi-millionaires into billionaires?  Given this hand in glove connection with mass media and his campaign's strategy of dumping massive sums of money into advertising its a fair question to pose.

I thiink that's a little

I thiink that's a little hyperbolic.  I just wonder if we can trust his sincerity as a presidential candidate or is this just another fabulous business opportunity to him.  If he can establish the precedent of spending incredible amounts of money then the Clear Channel media empire wins which means Bain Capital wins which means he enriches himself.  And the evidence of massive spending by his campaign and his "unaffiliated" SuperPAC is right there in our faces.

A total of 11,586 ads aired in the sunshine state between January 23 and January 29; 10,633 of those ads were negative. Newt Gingrich ran 1,012 ads with 95 percent being negative while Romney ran 3,276 ads of which 99 percent were negative.
