Glad to see that the U.S. State Department "welcomed the verdict". It's neither police or military - it's justice.
That's a good precedent since this was the first case of a Head of State being tried for War Crimes since Nuremburg.
And, of course, you can't welcome the verdict unless you agree with the process.
