That's bad news if your stuck in a mortgage and your property has lost value. Good news if you're a buyer. Time to play musical chairs? Or time to demand that we be able to write down our mortgages the way were supposed to when the banks got the TARP money? That would be a sort of bailout for many. Those whose pensions are affected by all this should be eligible for special conditions.

Keystone would be way worse than we thought!

We already know that the Keystone XL pipeline is a disaster waiting to happen. But, it turns out that the impact of that tar sands pipeline could be even worse than we thought. According to a new study by the Stockholm Environmental Institute, Keystone could add four times more carbon pollution to our atmosphere than the State Department originally estimated.
