Why is it that the biggest corporations get the Biggest tax breaks???? Heres a link to The Huffington post, with a story of a report from The Greenlining Institute, a research and public policy non-profit based in Berkeley, Calif. It says that Apple only paided 9.8 % on their 2011 taxes,Google only paid 11.9 %,Microsoft paid 18.9 %,Xerox paid 7.3 %,and Amazon only paid a 3.5 % Tax Rate. How is this even possible, its sick and disturbing!! http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/04/17/apple-corporate-income-tax-rate_n_1429955.html

That all depends on what they are basing their data on. Is that the tax rate they pay after all of their expenses and deductions? Is that the effective tax rate after credits? Is that the tax rate that some number cruncher came up with based on what they paid in taxes vs their gross profit? There's a big difference. I would do a little investigating before jumping on that bandwagon.

Well, its seems that you didnt read the story,Because the report speaks for its self, just how the hell did G.E. pay no taxes in 2008,2009,2010,Theres no Bandwagon that I'm jumping on,The truth speaks for it self, dont be so blind to see that the corporate tax system is manipulated to favor the big corporations. The rich get richer,so they can use that money to manipulate on what laws are passed, especially ones in their favor!

Man, everyone's so touchy tonight. I did read the story by the way and they didn't go into any detail as to how those numbers were produced. If they did then you would know exactly why they paid what they did. There are too many legal loopholes to even try to mention. It's legal because many of those companies lobby year after year for legislation that includes those loopholes. If you think I'm blind to the tax system then I hope you stick around for a while. I apologize for striking a chord.

What is "legal" by definition doesn't make it right. Clinton "legally" didn't have "sexual relations" with that woman since Arkansas Blue Laws don't recognize BJ's as anything but abominations. So "legally" he didn't commit perjury. But we know he lied his ass off. The entire CSA is a sham as well as every for profit Police Action since Korea and Vietnam continuing with the Ganjawar. Legal smegal. There are only a couple major loopholes needing plugs. NAFTA/GATT and Mittney's Cayman Island Tax Dodgers. I'm not against loopholes or special circumstances that assist Americans with the tax breaks. That is what the tax would do anyway.

Corporations That Supplied Iraq's Weapons Program
American Media Not Reporting 27 Kidnapped Soldiers

Hoarding cash in some vault or using my taxes to hire foreign labor cheaper, while my fellow Americans are losing their jobs too outsourcing may be "legal" to anyone without a soul. "Legal" has excused more tyrants from hideous crimes against humanity. From Auschwitz to Rainbow Farm it was "legal" to kill. Easy to spot, it's the ones with vested ignorance going along and the ones justifying the immorality. Profiting on misery. Maintaining dysfunction for a paycheck. Ask a kid if its fair that daddy pays 25% tax while GE and Exxon collect welfare. Let alone 3% for keyrist sakes. Wrong is wrong and the roads don't get paved with Cayman Island Banksters hiding Willard's cash he got firing employees in the name of efficiency. Workers axed first, never the Leer Jets for some reason.

If... the machine of government...
is of such a nature that it requires you
to be the agent of injustice to another,
then, I say, break the law.
~ Henry David Thoreau,
On the Duty of Civil Disobediance, 1849[

I've advocated cannabis and hemp since Nixon lied and broke his legal lie because it is the right thing for me. Science backs my decision using the laws of physics, not liars. If the root of the tree be poison, so be the fruit. If these corporations were serving their country and citizenry they would break the loopholes and pay their fair share. Although like Al Gores Oil Wells getting us into Colombia, he is legally bound to serve his board and best interest of the stockholders, let the u'wa indians be damned, it's Legal as the Love Canal or Lake Erie catching on fire. Or as Monsanto's hatchman Cliarence Thomas' appealing legalities of Monsanto dumping dioxins into the Mississippi River. Lets not even start with Cheney re-covering up the legal MKULTRA or the legal COINTELPRO. Along with a reoccurring virus Rumsfeld. Bush Bakkker Nixon Neocons with no allegiance to the US other than bankrupting the Treasury and downsizing the middle class. With outsourcing a living wage right out the door legally. We see through their closed doors because its happened so often. SOS Cheap Labor - More Profits.

The solution is simple. Eat the rich.
Profound Hatred for Democracy

Regardless of the Indians lands destroyed or Appalachian people losing their mountains. Farmers poisoned by Big Ag corporations undercutting the family farmer. Aborting babies in the Bible Belt. As the auto industry drummed out the back yard mechanic. We can see who cheats and no amount of whiny excuses will change that. Loopholes need more transparency than politicians. Money is the evil in this modern day G-20 World Bank Multinational Corporate Fascism. From elections making Advertisers rich to a bought off neoCongress and more than half of SCOTUS. The Neocons have Earth to rule, countries are being converted into states. This is Mexamericanada.

“Today, America would be outraged if UN troops entered Los Angeles to restore order. Tomorrow they will be grateful! This is especially true if they were told that there was an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all people of the world will plead to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well-being granted to them by the world government.” - Henry Kissinger (Bilderburg Conference 1991 Evians, France)

The two most important things we could do would be Buy organic and locally and remove cannabis from the CSA and let farmers grow Hemp for the mills and omega 3,6 and 9 efa's for the table. Granny's rheumatiz med out of the herb garden, affordable healthcare. Without insurance Corpses. We need health care not health care insurance. Always a casino game while they outlaw slot machines off the reservation. I'm all for hanging the bastards upside down on the steps of the Supreme Court. Give em a Hemp loophole around the neck. Although it's illegal for the family farmers to grow it.

It Can Happen here...
It Has Happened Here
It Is Happening Here...
Booshammy Poison Inc.

Al Capone and Watergate were red herrings to divert the countries attention from the Fascist acts of eliminating competition. Booze/Ethanol or Ganja//Hemp... Legally.

Couldn't agree more,The G-8 and nato summits are being held in Chicago this May 19-21.We need to show up and demand the change we were promised in 2008!

Rather, we need to MAKE the change we 'voted' for in 2008. While I spend a fair amount of time arguing against those who want to give up on voting, I hope I am even more clear about what it takes to make votes matter. There is very little news in this thread. Who does not know that the Big Money players write the rules? Anyone with your hand up, get over the delusion, but don't just lie down for it.
