History that matters was one take. TX school book publishers, which print over half the country's elementary level history books, has deleted Thomas Jefferson and replaced him with Reagan. Deleted any civil rights figures, and amped up nra. Slavery is hardly mentioned, but at least they didn't include the dinesh dasouza view stating that slavery was good for African Americans. [he also thinks India should be grateful to Britain]. The schools probably require a daily dose of fox, too.
