Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s days of racial profiling may be numbered

2 posts / 0 new

The Justice Department said on Wednesday that it’s planning to file suit against Arpaio – alleging that America’s so-called toughest sheriff is violating the civil rights of Latinos. In settlement negotiations – the Justice Department offered a court-appointed monitor to train Arpaio’s officers in how to make constitutional traffic stops without violating civil rights – but Arpaio’s office refused – thus making a lawsuit inevitable.

Among the allegations lodged at Arpaio – include racially profiling Latinos, responding to racially charged citizen complaints, and punishing Spanish-speaking inmates. There’s also the separate issue of Arpaio’s office failing to investigate more than 400 sex-crimes – some including children – since 2007. Arpaio likes to call himself America’s Sheriff – but he has no idea what our nation’s values really are.

This is being spun into the forth dimension. The truth is Arizona police are stopping native Americans and demanding to see their papers. There is one video I took available on youtube called 11 tempe police cars I was able to over hear the conversation and could find no reason for the stop nor was the man and his nephew being belligerent. I also photographed a different Tempe police officer harrasing native americans she pulled me over and tried to delete the photograph. I sent it to the people who need to see it. You never hear about this problem one reason is the catholics would like to see more catholics in the united states so they are behind a lot of the rhetoric yes I can prove this a catholic food bank in Tucson also is working for illegals rights. I will tell the truth about the sheriff department the substation in surprise removed all the thorn bearing plant tribulus terrestris after I photographed the property. A deputy named Macklin showed up at the fedreal corthouse either so drunk or hung over he was having trouble standing up the federal police ran him off. The Maricopa sheriff department also arrested Carlos Curley and Kevin Phillips who tried to rob a man in Sierra Vista he shot at them and the police arrested the shooter and let the robbers go. It turns out the two muggers were working as informants about those who made it across the border and showed up at the food bank.

Why the Kochs Really Embraced Criminal Justice Reform...

It looks like the Koch brothers have scammed us once again.

When news first came out that Charles and David Koch -- the Koch brothers -- were supporting criminal justice reform efforts in Congress, many of us thought, "Wow, they're actually doing something good for once."

And for good reason, too.
