The fire of youth will never be put out! The future must be anticipated and protected in the present, not extrapolated from the present (J.Moltmann).
Private corporations occupy the government. This is destructive of democracy. The poor and disabled take the brunt of cuts and austerity. Money should be invested for people. The commons is the alternative to profit maximization.

The state has a social nature and can't be reduced to a power and security state.
The free moral state is opposed to the national security state. The social or welfare state became the activating, punishing and competition state. The state became the "errand boy" of the banks (Bill Moyers) after the "quiet coup" (Simon Johnson).
