You might check out "UPGRADE," a smart and nicely drawn comic-book for adults, free on Amazon, about a crazy future world where corporations run society, privacy is gone, consumerism is rampant, and nobody seems to care. At only 40 pages, it’s a fast read, both creepy and funny and unfortunately, rings way too true.
It's set a sci-fi society where everyone eagerly awaits and installs "upgrades" that take away their personal freedoms under the guise of "convenience", making people more and more dependent upon a techno-corporate-government, and yet they eagerly embrace. Sound familiar?
