"Mitt Romney-Helmed Olympics Outsourced Uniforms To Burma"...no wonder he is silent on this years China-made uni flap

4 posts / 0 new

I do not recall seeing Mitt comment about the Ralph Lauren designed USA Olympic uniforms being made in China ... this article by Sabrina Siddiqui from The Huffington Post helps explain why. The article points out how this fact reinforces the criticism of Romney and the outsourcing done by Bain Capital, and exposes an embarrassing oversight in allowing the uniforms to be manufactured in Burma, which until just last year was controlled by a brutal military regime..

Maybe this will divert the press' attention away from the flip-flopping on the span of Romney's tenure at Bain Capital for a few minutes, or away from the lack of depth to his tax form releases. Well, maybe not.

here is Thom's earlier post on this topic :

This appears to be the original article on Romney's uniform connection to Burma, as stated by a caller to Thom's radio show today :

Osmonds at Mitt's Inauguration. Just mull on that prospect. Won't that get the troops out to knock on doors? A good many telly's will meet their doom when a lot of rocks, bricks and books get tossed their way next January if Mittens gets to take the oath. In that case, will we get to take a retroactive emotional leave of senses? Better to have enough Romney Derangement Syndrome NOW before it's too late and you'll have it for real on the first Wednesday morn in November.

I have come to the point that I don't want to know what is in Romney's tax records or anything more about his "work." It is like not taking the stairs to the basement when you hear "that noise" in a horror flick. When the music gets creepy and filled with tension, don't open that door or look inside that box! You know better!

I like the idea of taking retroactive retirement from politics and civil life if Romney is selected. Is the capsule ready for launch? Ticket to anywhere is fine. I'll have more from Amnesia Brewery. Close your eyes. . .

Why the Kochs Really Embraced Criminal Justice Reform...

It looks like the Koch brothers have scammed us once again.

When news first came out that Charles and David Koch -- the Koch brothers -- were supporting criminal justice reform efforts in Congress, many of us thought, "Wow, they're actually doing something good for once."

And for good reason, too.
