Three U.S. soldiers were killed in Afghanistan today – after a man wearing an Afghan military uniform detonated a vest full of explosives outside a military compound. This is the latest attack on coalition forces by Afghans dressed as soldiers or police officers. Under the current strategy, the U.S. military is training an Afghan security force to take over when coalition forces leave the country in 2014.

But on days like this, when members of that Afghan security force end up killing U.S. soldiers, we’re reminded of just what a mess this war is to begin with. Time to bring home the troops – and close the book on our nation’s longest war ever.

Whose Fault Is It? Obamacare Rates Are Going Up...

Obamacare is in trouble.

With just two weeks to go before Election Day, the White House announced Monday that premiums on the healthcare law's state-level exchanges will increase by an average of 22 percent next year.

Premiums on the federal exchanges will jump an average of 25 percent.
