Capitalism have a problem, "the Fiscal Cliff & Deficit Ceiling" is nothing with no "JOBS"!

Capitalism must grow to survive, right? Wall St would die without growth, right? Automation, computers, communist slavery and cheap labor and climate clange is making the "MARKET VERY SMALL AND SMALLER BY THE NY MINUTE". Capitalism is a "CANCER", the ruling class don`t wake up to that fact, humanity will be history! Capitalism need austerity not governments. We need community motivation over individual motivation, people working together far outweight the "lone wofl". The only way to grow the world ecoonomy in one world is to share it. And the best way to share is, all must be involve and have equality. All people must have value and a way to use it. A democratic workers-own system with people democratic control of money creation, would be a way to "CREATE JOBS"! People can be motivated for economic freedom, and help and share in this "one world", but being motivated for austerity in a "dog eat dog" system, may we alll R.I.P. PS progressive media need to focus on jobs and what it will take to grow humanity together and avoid the "Media of Mass Distraction"( fiscal cliff & etc.) Our future depends on you! AND US(99%) GIVING YOU MORE THAN A 100% SUPPORT WITH WHATEVER WE HAVE! WE MUST LEAD OURSELVES!

one way to lower deficit make congress and the senate take 10% paycut.take away pension and give them 401k then they will care what wallstreet banksters are doing.make them have same healthcare as people on medicare copay and balance due.thank God hillary is alright but if she was one of the people who are uninsured she would of had a stroke and maybe died

The problem with our government,it need two paychecks. One paycheck is for service being done, the other check is for keeping the job to do the service. The 1% control the government with paying that other check, which is more important and bigger than the service check. And the the retirement check or/and when service is finish, the !% has power there with the bigger payoff. We the 99% want a government by the people, for the people, the people need to control economic power. As of now, the people pay the government, but 1% control it. Economic power come from the people, the people have the power to "keep it".

You are correct, tayl, there's always work to do. Here's some info. regarding the supposed ultimatum behind the "cliff":

Quote Kevin Zeese:

The “deal” only cut the deficit by $620 billion of the bi-partisan goal of $4 trillion so there are a lot of budget cuts ahead and they will not come from the military or national security state, they will come from the necessities of the people. Even if the U.S. had gone over the cliff cuts to the military were minimal, DoDcuts scheduled to take effect in 2013 were only $24 billion, according to the Congressional Budget Office, much less than the oft-mentioned $500 billion reported in the media. The $500 billion are cuts over ten years, mostly backloaded to the out years. Thus these are cuts the military would likely never see.

...

The “deal” was not all about cuts, as Matt Stoller writes, the deficit cutters were very generous to Goldman Sachs: “Goldman got $1.6 billion in tax free financing for its new massive headquarters through Liberty Bonds.” Another gift to big finance and multinationals: a provision was included that allows U.S. multinationals to not pay taxes on income earned abroad at a cost $1.5 billion to the budget.

The Death of the Middle Class was by Design...

Even in the face of the so-called Recovery, poverty and inequality are getting worse in our country, and more wealth and power is flowing straight to the top. According to Paul Buchheit over at Alternet, this is the end result of winner-take-all capitalism, and this destruction of the working class has all been by design.
