Barbara Walters, Morally Insane!
Even progressive apparatchiks in the liberal media establishment can show compassion when it comes to abortion. However, it isn’t the children having their skulls sliced open and their brains vacuumed out, or the children dismembered with a scalpel in their mothers’ wombs folks like Barbara Walters feel sorry for. This is what she has to say about a Texas law requiring mothers to look at ultrasounds of their inconvenient children before killing them:
“…to have to go and be forced to hear, to see the fetus, to hear the heartbeat, to put more guilt on you, I think is heartbreaking.”
Ha, and here I was thinking that aborting a child was just like having a cyst removed.
What is there to feel guilty about if it isn’t murder?

Cal, the decision to have an abortion is a personal and painful one. the only judge should be God not you. Showing a woman the ultra sounds and making her listen to the heart beat is just the anti-abortionists using terror to make her into changing her mind. The discussion should be birth control and birth control beyond that of abstinance. The discussion should be about affordable health care, during and after pregnancy. The discussion should be about the quality of life that the woman and the child will have after the child is born. Please don't come back with the "she could give it up for adoption" line. There are many children who spend their whole lives in orphanages or foster care.

Orphanages? What are you? Charles Dickens and living in Victorian England in the 1700's? Seriously, have you EVER even seen an orphanage in America today? It is amazing to see the images a Leftists ego will create out of thin air justify their belief in the killing of children.
The fact remains that there ARE families who are willing to raise and LOVE the child out there. People who are willing to let the children grow and play and to LIVE. While a womans pregnancy may not be exactly what she wanted, I can assure the woman in that situation that there is someone, indeed more than one someone, who DESPERATELY wants that pregnancy, and has gone through a lot of heartbreak and jumped through a lot of legal hoops to be approved to parent.
We need to get the message out to expectant mothers that;
Your child is so loved, and not just by you.
Don’t buy the myth of the unwanted pregnancy, let’s do what we can to change that stereotype.
