Obama and Elections 2010 (Not the Issue)

Trying to get new job stimulus legislature passed may carry short term benefits that drive voters into voting democrat in November. However isn't it more important to pass legislature to end or limit lobbyists in Washington altogether? As Dilligan Rattigan has pointed out, aren't both Democrats and Republicans guilty of lobbying sway? ( I wish you and Rattigan would team up and get your own tv show) I don't know who's smarter, but I'd love to see the results.

Corporate lobbyists have been around for how long? And gotten how big? When do we introduce any regulations concerning them? Is corporate America really in complete control of this country through media outlets? How widespread is their reach? Does Congress work for the US or a handful of companies? Then we need a President who will pass progressive legislature and then do something like a write in sentence putting an end to Washington lobbying.  There are slick ways of getting these things passed and Obama and Democrats need to pull out all the tricks before the next set of elections. 

This could be the last stand. And Democrats have to cover their bases. What's being done on watching the voting machines this Fall? No one talks about this anymore. Where is Brad Freeman? When will radio and television progressive hosts start doing guest appearances in the South or do we need special laws or conservative free passes first to allow them in? From what I've seen progressive hosts have conquered the cruise ships, safe liberal auditoriums, and book signings, but not one has had a Republican shoe thrown at them. So perhaps progressive hosts need to be visible to more areas of this country's conservative cities where Beck and Limbaugh's rantings are law.  And lastly have you noticed how more and more monopolies are happening almost everyday? Banks, airlines, and investment companies top the list.  If the President has run out of ideas, then he needs help. As far as I can see, there will never be government transparency as long as massive lobbying, or what I call, the US off-shore corporate mafia, is allowed to function
