Hi, Thom and Louise!

Continued best wishes to Louise for a quick, complete recovery! You are a kind and gracious lady.

I'll be upfront in that I also sent this message to Ed Schultz.

I am concerned that many conservative voters will believe ANYTHING the Republican talkers say. This is especially true in the South. If Frank Luntz, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Mitt Romney, etc. would say so, millions of Americans would believe anything at all. Fortunately, I don't think they have quite realized their potential to harm, yet. Therefore it is critical for the rest of us to establish clearly, right now what the truth is.

For example, I know one man, who calls himself conservative. He admitted to me that the Obama Administration has never proposed any laws that would limit gun ownership. However, imagine the conservative talkers were to claim that the President has introduced any number of such laws, even inventing fictitious House or Senate file numbers. For millions of Americans, that would now become THE TRUTH, and any facts or discussion to the contrary would be seen as an attempt at deception.

As soon as possible, we have to identify what the main issues are and get agreement from everyone on the truth before the conservatives take "the big lie" to the next level. Thank you, Thom!

Why the Kochs Really Embraced Criminal Justice Reform...

It looks like the Koch brothers have scammed us once again.

When news first came out that Charles and David Koch -- the Koch brothers -- were supporting criminal justice reform efforts in Congress, many of us thought, "Wow, they're actually doing something good for once."

And for good reason, too.
