Category: LifeThe typical , not neccessarily white, middle aged,( been workin' 20-30 years), guy in this country has every reason to be mad as hell about what is going on in this country over the last 30 years or so. I say, not neccessarily white, because it has really become more of a class thing, than a race thing.
The middle class worker in America has been taking it up the tailpipe ever since Reagan took office. Period. The thing is, you've got to mad at the right people.
Its really easy to figure out. Generally, the guy who is behind you, wiping his junk off after giving it to you...... he's the guy who's screwing you. Even if he looks you in the eye after, and says ,' its those damned Liberals, not me'.
Not rocket science, folks.
The people who tell you that everything cheaper is better, so that you do all your shopping at Wal-Mart, and notice that everything is made in China? They're the ones screwing you.... we used to make ALL that stuff here....before Reagan. Clinton played a huge part in this,as well. Now, people have to work at Wal-Mart for slave wages, and they can only afford to shop....wait for it...at Wal-Mart! Its the company store, all over again. They give classes at Wal-Mart on how to get Government assistance, for real.
And, the Wal mart family gets righer, and richer, and votes Republican, and rants about how the 'Free Market' wil fix everything... and our jobs, the ones that you used to be able to raise your family on, and your wife could stay at home, and your kids could go to college if they were bright enough. Or they could work at the Plant next to you, and raise thier own kids, those jobs are gone forever. We don't make it here anymore. You want fries with that? Pump 8 is ready to go....
In 1980, The U.S. was the world's largest exporter of manufactured products. We imported raw materials, and made them into stuff. We were the banker to the world. Everybody borrowed money from us.
Flash forward 30 years, 30 years of unregulated, free market greed. We are now the largest, most in debt nation on the planet, we owe borrow money from everybody. We are now the largest exporter of our raw materials, and the largest importer of manufactured products. We buy crap from foreign coumtries, then throw it away, and sell them the trash, and they make new stuff out of it, and sell it back to us. Literally. All at a profit...for them, not us.
But, who is they, and who is us, anymore? Over half of 'International trade', is one company, in another country, selling stuff to another company, over here, that we recognize as being an 'American' company, all the while both companies are owned by the same parent company. Its a shell game..they use the cheap labor over there, so they don't have to pay us more over here, and take the money to the bank in the Cayman Islands, while we wonder who it is that just screwed us up the tailpipe.
Like I said, its the guy wiping off his dick.
Case in point: Levi's jeans. They used to make 'em here, in America. Thanks to free market rules, however, now they are made in Mexico, because they don't have to pay jack for labor in Mexico, or health care, or vacation time, or any of that stuff we used to take for granted here.
You want to know who to be mad at? How about being mad at the people who are in favor of this free market greed system. The ones who make a fortune off of our backs. The ones who are screwing us. Its not the Liberals, Its the corporatists, and thier lobbyists. Mostly Republicans, but not all, lots of Dems are bought and paid for, also.
Only the top ONE PERCENT of the people in America control NINETY PERCENT of the wealth of this country. Be mad at them, they are the ones wiping off thier junk after giving it to us. And, they're not done yet. They want more. We're still standing.
The Health Insurance companies, they don't want us to have universal health care, a single payor system, no way! They are spending billions of dollars,( chump change, to them), to try to stop it. Why?
Because they a making a fortune of the current system, its a cash cow for them, and they don't want to change one bit of it. Uh UH, nope, sorry charlie, you've got cancer? To bad, should've seen that coming sooner, should have been checked out... you want us to pay for what?, oh, no, man, thats experimental, we don't cover that. We know you been paying us your premiums faith fully for the last 30 years, but, but, but, if we give you all those expensive treatments, our CEO won't be able to take his secretary on his all expenses paid sex cruise to the Cayman Islands to drop off his tax-free golden parachute money....sorry, 75 percent of people with your condition die, anyhow. We suggest you enjoy your last days, and spend down your assets until you are broke, and then, Uncle Sam will pay for your mophine drip out of the last money from your house that the state now owns....should probably run out of money at more or less the same time as you die, maybe a little left over for the funeral? Maybe
And, you want to protect this system? Just follow the money, and, remember , that guy standing behind you wiping off his dick, telling you its not him that is screwing you? Don't believe him.
Maybe you wouldn't get screwed so much, if you weren't such an easy lay.
