Lincoln - Douglas = Obama - Paul

Yes.  I think if Ron Paul and Barack Obama were to have a series of presidential debates, they would "that" historic.

Mr. Hartmann has said many times that "FDR" would say something to the effect of, "Yes.  I made a lot of campaign promises... now make me honor them."  (I hope I paraphrased that right.)

If we are "treated" to a series of Romney and Obama debates... what are they going to talk about?  Each one will pretend to be different, but there is zero substantial difference between the two.

Romney and Obama are essentially photo negatives of each other.

From what I hear, Progressives are extremely disappointed in President Obama's continuation of the Bush trampling of civil liberties.  It's a 3rd Bush term.

How awesome would it be for Paul (a constitutionalist) to debate Obama (a Harvard constitutional lawyer)!?!  What does Obama really think about the constitution?  After a couple debates, we'd find out.  That's for sure.

So Independents and Liberals should register and vote for Paul in the Republican primary.  Why?  Because if Romney or Santorum become the Republican nomination... and then they actually win... we'll be treated to a 4th Bush term.

We'll be treated to a 4th Bush term if we ignore the "40 foot Owl" in the room!
