Bombs Away for the oil spill

5/29 I read a couple of articles online about using nukes or regular bombs to hit the oil pipe and crush it. Apparently the Russians used this method (with nukes) successfully 4 out of 5 times - no mention of radioactivity problems, but this was done with deep-water wells. Anyone got a link to more info? Someone in the US government commented that it might work, with regular bombs, not nukes. Interesting, and scary.

I've thought from the beginning that a bomb or bombs would work - but except for these couple of articles online, I've heard nothing, on tv or anywhere.
