This is my first blog ever so I apologize in advance for any issues with my post. House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) said "both parties should work together this month to promote job creation by cutting spending to 2008 levels and freezing all tax rates for two years." My question - in 2008 under Bush, didn't the budget not include the unfunded wars? So wouldn't setting spending to 2008 levels with two war costs included, perhaps give us a spending increase?

House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) said "both parties should work together this month to promote job creation by cutting spending to 2008 levels and freezing all tax rates for two years." is double speak for extending tax cuts to the rich for two years.
I hope one day the name John Boehner becomes slang to describe a class of humans altogether devoid of humanity. Like, " The dudes a Boehner." Rarely does one see a person so degraded that there seems to be no humanity left, at all. Hollow, empty, something out of T.S. Eliot. At least, then, John Boehner would stand for something.
