"Renaissance Thinking About the Issues of Our Day"
Native Hedges by leighmf
If you find you're short of rations,
don't forget the Indian nations.
They had land, oil, and gold
till their lawyers got a' hold.
Indian Hedge Funds-
American crime.
Hid by Courts of
American slime.
Who really owns the big casino?
Why is the White House really called so?
Let them go and fight their own wars-
make their beds and do a few chores.
Indian Hedge Funds
have grown in Time,
more for the 1%
to live sublime!

So is that the meaning of "Hedges have edges, but Rush (Limbaughs) are round?" I learned that while on vacation as a kid, but without the Limbaugh part, and with Sedges instead of Hedges. I was thinking maybe the Hedges part was really about Chris Hedges, but now I think, maybe Native Hedges instead.
Actually, I was more stuck on rhyming Indian Hedge Funds with Men in cummerbunds.
Though I have an idea about sedges have edges; because the stems of sedges are distinctly triangular while rushes have round stems. Just another good way to tell your marsh plants apart.
Hmm, men in cumberbunds serving rich dudes Hedge Funds. Kind of catchy sounding, huh?
The Sedges have edges thing was from a naturalist talk, which I think was at Lassen National Park. I tried to return there with my wife last August in my Honda Insight, but the area happened to be burning up at the time and people in nearby towns had been evacuated to Redding at the northern end of the Central Valley. Times have really changed. The fires were naturally caused by dry lightning strikes, so at least that was one thing we couldn't blame on humanity. It was humans who prevented fires from burning naturally for so many years, however, that made the area too heavily forrested.
