Justice Thomas' recusal during hearings on "Obamacare."

Rob Johnson's picture

Thom you forgot one salient fact in your rant about Thomas recusing himself--that of Kagan.  As Solicitor General, she was instrumental in drafting and defending Obamacare.  Should she not recuse herself?  She already has an inherent bias.  And what about that wizened crone Ginsburg--she actually had the gall during a speech in Egypt to call our Constitution outmoded and "flawed" and held up the 400 plus page South African "constitution" as the light for which they should strive when rewriting the Egyptian excuse for a charter.  Should not this communist crone be impeached for her inveterate hatred of a document for which she swore on her sacred "honor" to uphold?

How can you champion Obamacare or Marxist Medicine if your prefer--not one damn commissar that vote for it read it.  In fact Botox Betty, er excuse me, I mean former Speaker of the House Pelosi had the temerity to creak, "well we have to pass it to see what's in it."  That was a dereliction of her constitutional duty and should render her impeachable.

As an insurance agent with more than twenty years experience, and with many years experience in the health care industry, I can easily solve the healthcare problem.  Use the free market and allow companies to compete in all fifty states.  Competition will lower prices, increase efficiencies and lead to  better care.  The government can do nothing except screw up any enterprise in which it becomes involved.

The avowed goal of her majesty Barack bint Hussein Obama is the destruction of the private insurance industry.  I've heard the audio and video many times of this Marxist menace screeching about his intent to demolish the private insurance industry.  First it will be health, then life and property/casualty coverage.

So how can you extoll the benefits of Obamacare--when not one damn person, excepting the special interests that wrote portions of that monstrosity, when you don't what the hell is in it?

All banking and insurance can

All banking and insurance can be nationalized and the nation would benefit. Obamaromneycare is an offshoot of the proposal by The Heritage Foundation and "money" and "care" are incompatible. See

Cliarence should be in jail for his Monsanto stint.

he should give up his citizenship and Monsanto be Forfeited!

Terminator Seeds Threaten an End to Farming
by Hope Shand and Pat Mooney
The 12,000-year-old practice in which farm families save their best seed from one year's harvest for the next season's planting may be coming to an end by the year 2000. In March 1998, Delta ~ Pine Land Co. arid the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced they had received a US patent on a new genetic technology designed to prevent unauthorized seed-saving by farmers.

Monsanto Hid Decades Of Pollution
Monsanto enjoyed a lucrative four-decade monopoly on PCB production in the United States, and battled to protect that monopoly long after PCBs were confirmed as a global pollutant. "We can't afford to lose one dollar of business," one internal memo concluded.

In 1966, Monsanto managers discovered that fish submerged in that creek turned belly-up within 10 seconds, spurting blood and shedding skin as if dunked into boiling water. They told no one. In 1969, they found fish in another creek with 7,500 times the legal PCB levels. They decided "there is little object in going to expensive extremes in limiting discharges." In 1975, a company study found that PCBs caused tumors in rats. They ordered its conclusion changed from "slightly tumorigenic" to "does not appear to be carcinogenic."

Public Officials Formerly EMPLOYED by Monsanto

    * Justice Clarence Thomas worked as an attorney for Monsanto in the 1970s. Thomas wrote the majority opinion in the 2001 Supreme Court decision J. E. M. Ag Supply, Inc. v. Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc. | J. E. M. AG SUPPLY, INC. V. PIONEER HI-BREDINTERNATIONAL, INC. which found that "newly developed plant breeds are patentable under the general utility patent laws of the United States." This case benefitted all companies which profit from genetically modified crops (GMO), of which Monsanto is one of the largest.

Monsanto
The company's first product was the artificial sweetener saccharin, which it sold to The Coca-Cola Company.

Other major products have included the herbicides, DDT, and Agent Orange used primarily during the Vietnam War as a defoliant agent (later found to be contaminated during manufacture with highly carcinogenic dioxin), the artificial sweetener aspartame (NutraSweet), bovine somatotropin (bovine growth hormone (BST)), and PCBs.

Former Monsanto employees currently hold positions in US government agencies such as the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Supreme Court. These include Clarence Thomas,

I feel we should shop our

I feel we should shop our health plans across state lines. Here I can get a better deal instead of one size fits all. If Blue Cross offers in Iowa the same plan I have here in Illinois $15.00 less per month. I should have that right to go to Iowa and buy it instead of staying with Illinois which is more and in one year pay $180.00 more. Do you agree? or is that not fair?
