FINISH THE CHANGE...

After I unveiled and updated what I feel is a more modern and somewhat "unique to this century" TACTIC to drive out the vote for this mid-term election, which is:

100,000 CORNERS TO VOTE where at least once per week in ALL blue regions ALL over the USofA [and not just a big march in WDC], progressive activists of all stripes...IE: candidates, parties and issues...should assemble groups of four-six and criss-cross sidewalks on 100,000 busy corners all across the USofA carrying signs about voting, I think that the above noted name of this blog entry...FINISH THE CHANGE...might be an "umbrella-like" mantra or slogan that will not only draw the youth who backboned Obama's "web-world" election in 2008 BACK INTO THE FIGHT, but it might even tweak the interest of...or the responsibilities of, the "Great Gray Nappers" who are liberals-lefties-democrats [but NOT progressives because WE ALWAYS VOTE!] and who simply go back into being "comfortably numb" in between presidential election cycles.

A nationwide "FINISH THE CHANGE" campaign can attract ALL elements and ages of the liberal-lefty-democratic-progressive communities into a simple common bond and ACTION that we all started up after 2004..IE "THE SECOND WAKE-UP CALL". Please give fair consideration for these newer concepts and approaches because I certainly think that "these dogs will hunt".  Give it a shot...do something different...get after it!

FYI...the best words on signage that I've used so far are:  

REMIND YOUR PARENTS TO VOTE-PEACE.

Again, we all have parents...and if they are still alive, we should get them or help them to get out to vote. And the perniscious [sp] aspect of this signage is that it asks the YOUTH...even those as young as 16 [a new voting years of age?] or younger, to become part of our democracy even BEFORE they have a chance to vote.  I have stood outside high schools at the end of the school day where the cars and busses depart...and the response is FANTASTIC!...to say the absolute least.

So, there you have it gang...a few more ideas to CHANGE the historical reality of "useless lazy liberals" during mid-term elections. Lets do it!  Lets work ourselves YOUNGER in age, action and association. ITS THE KIDS STUPID!
