"Renaissance Thinking About the Issues of Our Day"
What broadcasters say or don't say doesn't matter in the end. The only thing that interests me is how can the Democrats retain a majority in Congress and continue to have a Democratic administration in the White House, and how can the Democrats be made to pass legislation that allows citizens to survive and prosper regardless of their health circumstances, level of social status, or occupational background.
The political candidates are the people whose views need to be addressed and responded to. I do not call talk shows. Some callers are informative and make interesting points, but others are either repetitive or ignorant.
It remains to be seen how much funding the Democrats will be able to raise for their campaigns under the shadow of the Citizens United decision. If greed prevails and the country futher deteriorates, then so be it. But citizens could always try joining organizations and contacting their elected officials to say they don't want rich people, corporate executives, and right-wing reactionary policies to dominate our government.
