I signed up for Thom's newsletter and for the first time in three years I used my private email address associated with my private website. I have never given that email address out to anyone in three years since opening the website, othetr than to family members. I have never recieved SPAM email on the address I gave to receive Thom's newsletter. Not once, not ever.

Within two days of signing up for Thom's newsletter, my private email address started getting bombarded with SPAM for Cialis and Viagra. If you have ever gotten those email's you know they are impossible to stop. Recently, my private email has started getting ads for pornography.

I am 100% sure that either my email address was sold by RT or Thom's site has sold it for spam purposes.Either way, I am having to close that email address down, and inform everyone of a new address. Needless to say, I'll be dropping my subcription to Thom's newsletter.

Hi rufusmucus,

I'm sorry you are getting spam. I can assure you that Thom does not sell email addresses. I've passed on your comment to the webmaster to see if he has any suggestions.

Are you calling rufus a LIAR Sue? How would you explain this hmmmmm???

The Thom Hartmann website is infested with spam, fake postings and vile hatred. Topics that start under the guise of "Thom Hartmann" are posted by "him" and yet are never followed up or replied to.

It truly reflects the soul and integrity of Thom Hartman, the man, himself.

No, just mistaken. He could simply have had malware sitting on his machine just waiting for him to use a new email address, for example, or a family members' machine could have become infested and their mailing list compromised. It is natural to suspect this site since he had recently used the email address here, but suspicions are not facts.

This site is indeed bombarded by spam, I spend much of my time removing it, there is no way I would work for anyone who used it.

The political hatred posting seem to be inevitable, unfortunately, given that this is a political site and American politics are so polarized. I wish it were otherwise.

Thom gets hundreds of emails and replies to posts a day, there is no way he can respond to them personally. He does read them though, and they help to shape what he includes in the shows.
