Something stinks big time.

GE gave the Milwaukee School System money and Barrett defeated Union efforts to take control of the Milwaukee Public Schools (arguably the single worst school system in the Nation):

" the Wisconsin Education Association Council and Service Employees International Union. WEAC has had an uneasy relationship with Barrett since it fought his unsuccessful effort to take control of the Milwaukee Public Schools in 2009. AFSCME officials have charged that Barrett used the legislation that kicked off the protests against Walker -- Act 10, curtailing public employees' collecting bargaining rights -- to drive a hard bargain with public employees in Milwaukee."

For more information on how Barrett used Walker's Act 10 to "balance his budget on the backs of the workers and went further than Act 10" according to Rich Abelson executive director of AFSCME [the statewide public employees union] in Milwaukee see When reading the article you will also see mention of Barrett's buddy Obama's Rahm Emmanual who stiffed his teachers in Chicago.

Is GE trying to take over the public school system or something?!?

And for good reason, too.
