Amazingly, an amendment that would have clearly exempted national park units from the bill was rejected by 260 representatives, a disturbing number.

This bill, if passed as is, could entirely change the National Park System's historic legacy of having these park lands be a sanctuary for wildlife, where game hunting and target practice are forbidden.

Meanwhile, greatly assisted by Obama’s apparent policy of letting special interest groups buy government agencies, Wolves and the last remaining wild population of American Bison are being hunted into extinction. As sickeningly stupid and flawed in reason as this is under the Obama administration’s management of the People’s commons the price of Polar Bear skins has skyrocketed.

Our collapsing global environment should not be viewed as a profit opportunity.

Wisconsin DNR to aireal spray allegedly "Non-toxic" and "organic" BT compounds......prior to Walker's recall election.

Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) is a live microorganism that kills certain insects and is used to kill unwanted insects in forests, agriculture, and urban areas. In a purified form, some of the proteins produced by Bt are acutely toxic to mammals. Bt is closely related to B. cereus, a bacteria that causes food poisoning and to B. anthracis, the agent of the disease anthrax. Few studies have been conducted on the chronic health effects, carcinogenicity, or mutagenicity of Bt. People exposed to Bt have complained of respiratory, eye, and skin irritation, and one corneal ulcer has occurred after direct contact with a Bt formulation. People also suffer from allergies to the "inert" (secret) ingredients. People with compromised immune systems may be particularly susceptible to Bt.

Large-scale applications of Bt can have far-reaching ecological impacts. Bt can reduce dramatically the number and variety of moth and butterfly species, which in turn impacts birds and mammals that feed on caterpillars. Bt also increases in concentration in the bodies of animals as you move up the food chain much like DDT. The compound has also been show to effect fish and other aquatic life when it enters an area’s water system. In addition, a number of beneficial insects are adversely impacted by Bt.

Thursday March 29, 2012, "Wisconsin State Journal"

(Just like Washington, special interest groups getting rid of the administrative headache$$$ associated with a species on developable land (or otherwise inhabitating lands and waters hit by the externatilities of imprudent profit making) being designated endangered)

Tax cheats stash $2 trillion overseas!

America's biggest companies are playing by their own set of rules. According to a recent report from two major watchdog organizations, our nation's Fortune 500 companies have $2.1 trillion dollars stashed in overseas tax havens.

To put that number in perspective, it's worth noting that the entire federal budget for 2015 was only about $3.8 trillion.
