You say you love science and thursday you claimed you love it more than politics.So how about you start doing a "science minute", or whatever you want to call it, every day. I doubt you'll run out of stories, so bring it on Thom.

I don't know if you heard wednesday's show since you were sick, but the last caller had a good point and I want to agree with his premise.  I'm sure that you, and other lefty hosts, would change moderate and conservative minds  to progressive/liberal if you could. I'm confident that it's doable if hosts didn't resort to juvenile name calling, i.e. boner for Boehner, and limpballs for Limbaugh etc. and other unnecessary putdowns. We've heard vulgarities so many times in so many places there aren't funny or entertaining any more! I think anyone who's crossing over to listen to the other side temporarily may stick around longer and learn more if the don't hear crap like that which will drive them off. It does me when I occaisionally check out the righty's and they start using putdowns! We should all be staying with the higher ground of civility and liet them be the gutter wallowers! that need to be considered by yourself. Tag you're it, go occupy civilly!!
