hi tom. want to mention when CONservatives talk about capitalism they use it interchangeably with free enterprise. its a way they use to fool people that both are the same thing when they are really not. They do this because all they are really doing is protecting and advancing monopolies. as long as free markets are available things go great for the consumer with competition. Unfortunately many fall into the trap of debating issues along the lines that conservatives have defined rather than calling them out on the misnomers they are using.

the trust busters in the early 1900's realized this and passed laws accordingly. "what we have here is a failure to communicate" the lessons of history.

by the way monoplies also have government implement some regulations to maintain their dominance and destroy competition. so regulations can be used for good or bad purposes.
